Paul Christopher Conticelli is a second generation Italian-American. Born in Manhattan. Raised in Rockland County with frequent visits to New York City. Embracing the duality of European heritage with American life, Conticelli has explored his artistic sensibilities since 4 years old.
A visionary and creator with his first business at seven years old, Paul's Crafts, which included ceramics and pottery; pencil sketches and charcoal drawings; painting on fashion, canvas, and any material that sparked his interest; floral arrangements; holiday and decorative wreaths; and jewelry (beaded, braided, gem stones, leather, metals).
Paul Christopher serves up uninhibited inspiration, sass + style for creative living, rejecting labels. Founder of The UNISEXXX® Brand, Paul Christopher pictured a world molded and inspired by individuality, creativity, and diversity.
Lauren Cosenza published the debut post for UNISEXXXY™️ in 2013. The post created the framework for a like-minded audience searching for Universal Beauty Fashion Design Lifestyle, free of judgement and labels. The column grew into a well respected collective stakeholder as the magazine and print were quickly fading. Eventually PC became Editor for DIVAliciousBlog.
Artistically, Paul Christopher layers color, texture, and style through instinctual, seasoned brushstrokes. Poetically embracing vulnerability, Paul christopher shares stories of the journey of [his] life with joyful and vibrant compositions. His art evokes viewers to explore with an open mind, sparking individual conversation and personal connection. Conticelli's spirit portrays stages of the human development.
Art, in each modality, has the power to heal; transform; and act as the ultimate equalizer, Driven by a deep creative space, he finds solace and inspiration in the beauty of everyday life. As a means of survival, his art serves as testament to embracing one's inner brilliance to transcends pain and fear into liberation and celebration. Conticelli's work has been selected to be featured in prestigious exhibitions such as Cube Art Fair [Brussels, Belgium and in Manhattan], Scope for Art Basel [Miami, FL], the Loft Artist Association [Stamford, CT], Zaha Hadid's most recent development [Chelsea, NYC], Art Palm Beach [West Palm Beach, FL], Dreams a La La Land and the New Filmmakers Award Show [Los Angeles, CA], a summer residency at Oreya in the Capri Hotel [Southampton, NY], Garner Arts Center [Hudson Valley, NY], Monastary Gallery [West Hartford, CT], Metropolitan Museum [Tokyo, Japan] to name a few.
Paul Christopher privately develops art collections and curated projects including Sojourn [Upper East Side, Manhattan], the stations of the cross for Clarkstown Reformed Church [West Nyack, New York], the Marian Shrine [Stony Point, NY], Helen Hayes Hospital [West Haverstraw, NY], Gelato Queen of the world, Patrizia Pasqualetti, and Gelato By Patrizia [at EATALY] as well as Joel Warren and The Salon Project for SAKS Fifth Avenue. Conticelli was approached by international art curator, Julienne Johnson, to include his work in a permanent museum collection through the International Museum Exchange with Asia, touring on display in Japan, China, and Korea; his June 2024 display landed him beside Jackson Pollock at The Metropolitan Art Museum in Tokyo.
Paul Christopher Conticelli empowers others through charitable organizations, fundraising, donations, auctions and more. Recent philanthropic partnerships include Ali Forney Protects LGBTQ Youth from Homelessness, UHMLA Mobilizing medical professionals to help people [in Latin America}, Veterinarians International Helping Animals. Healing the Planet., Clemente The story of the baseball player and humanitarian Roberto Clemente, Helen Hayes Hospital Turning Pain into Purpose, The National HIV/ AIDS Foundation, National Breast Cancer Foundation, and The Philips Foundation and Tee Off for Tots raising funds for children with cancer and aiding families with medical expenses for youth with leukemia.
Aside from a successful and growing international art career, Conticelli has achieved a Bachelors of Science from University of Delaware in Finance and International Business and a Master degree from Columbia University in Construction Management. He is a licensed real estate salesperson in NYS and at times an owner's representative for custom general construction and interior design projects.
